Marinette, Wisconsin is located on the south bank of the Menominee River, adjacent to Green Bay in Lake Michigan. The city shares its history with Menominee, Michigan, the second of the often called “twin cities of the Menominee River”. Historically a logging town, Marinette now produces raw steel into warships for our Navy. As a side note, the 2020 census indicated that the city’s population was 10,566. Based on recent ceremonies and current interest, we are expecting more than 6,000 to attend our historic commissioning ceremony. Learn more about this unique area and all it has to offer!
